Olivier Named Broadpoint COO
Broadpoint, a full-service telecommunications and network solutions company, has announced Bryan Olivier as its chief operating officer. Bryan Olivier has more than 27 years of experience in management, engineering and network operations at leading companies in the telecommunications and energy industries. Along with other initiatives, Bryan Olivier will focus on expanding Broadpoint’s reliable, cost-effective wireless communication solutions, including its digital cellular infrastructure in the Gulf of Mexico. Bryan Olivier, who most recently served as chief operating officer at CapRock Communications, Inc., began his career with a nine year tenure at Tenneco Oil E&P, where he was responsible for maintaining both domestic and international microwave and satellite systems.Bryan Olivier is also the author of The Evolution of VSAT Networks and received a master’s degree in business administration in finance and organizational behavior from the University of Houston and a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
